So I called Linda this morning. At first she was very understanding about my concern for Nicholas. Them she asked "how are we going to get to know him then." To which I replied, they only live 20 minutes away, it's not that far, there's no reason why I can't bring him out there for a few hours each week and by the 3rd or 4th time he should feel comfortable being with them alone. Also that hearing from them every 2 months isn't going to work. I told her that I understood that they are busy but that if they want to be involved they'll have to put more effort into it ( in a much more polite way of course). So I feel better about it. It's hard setting a boundry especially with adults when I'm still getting used to viewing myself as an adult. But I do feel good about it now. Thanks for your help JU
